This is Why I do What I do!

Friends, this is why I love what I do as a life coach. I feel so blessed to have received the gift of this feedback over the weekend!

I love helping moms find their way back to health, happiness and peace of mind so they can make the most out of every day. That's the goal, right? We don't want to spend our lives drowning in "to-do's" and never really living.

There are many tools available to help us get from where we are to where we want to be! Have a great Monday!

How You Can Grow or Repair Your Relationships With Service

Have you ever asked yourself why your friend, spouse, child or parent is treating you a certain way?

Have you ever caught yourself saying, "I need something more from them."

Have you ever tried to tell this person what you need without any real results?

Perhaps it is time to learn about the service mentality in relationships. The service mentality says we give what we want to receive.

It seems counterintuitive. Especially if you are frustrated in a relationship. You might think, "How can I give more love, when I am feeling all out of it." or "Why should I have to do all of the work?"

The answer is because it works!

The benefits of living a life of service are soul-filling.

When we focus more on serving those around us, it actually makes us feel happier, more self-confident, and more energetic. It just feels good.

Can you remember the last time you did something nice for someone else? Didn't it feel good?

Maybe you let someone cut in front of you in traffic.

Perhaps you picked up your husband's dry cleaning for him.

Or maybe you bought a small gift for a friend, just because.

The fact is that it feels good to do something nice for someone else.

Also, it takes the focus off of yourself and helps you walk away from your pity party. (No offense! We all have them!)

Today, I would like to encourage you to pick one relationship and look for the opportunity to serve that person. Can you find at least one way to go out of your way for him or her for the next 7 days?

Call it an experiment and let me know how it goes!

Please Speak Kindly to Yourself

Friends, how you talk to yourself inside your head matters. You are truly hurting yourself when you tell yourself you were an epic failure at something.

Was it not spending enough quality time with your kids?

Yelling at your kids?

Not meeting your exercise or nutrition goals for the day?

Forgetting to call someone?

Being late to something?

Misplacing your keys?

To see more clearly how you should be talking to yourself instead, imagine how you would talk to your best friend.

You wouldn't say, "You were an epic failure today."

You would say something more gentle and compassionate, like, "OK. You're human. Tomorrow is a new day. You can do better next time."

Right?

So, let's practice that with ourselves. Listen to what you say to yourself inside your head and the way you talk about yourself to other people. Notice if you are not being your own best friend. Changing the way you talk to and about yourself can help you feel more peaceful and centered inside. I want you to feel more peaceful and centered inside. Would you like to feel more peaceful and centered?

If this message is resonating with you, that means it is for you. Let me know if you need some help.

Moms: Your Daily Strategy for Success Starts at Night

The life of a mom is busy, busy, busy -- whether you work at home or in an office. It seems as if there is more written on each one of our daily to-do lists than is humanly possible to achieve. So, how do we get it all done and make time for ourselves, too?

Today I would like to share a simple two-part success strategy with you to help you get more organized and accomplished!

Although it might seem shocking, I'm going to suggest you start at night!

1. At the end of the day, look over your to-do list and see how you did. What got crossed off, what didn't. Next, start tomorrow's to-do list with anything that might need to be carried over, plus anything else that needs to get done tomorrow. Review this list before going to bed. Make sure it is manageable.

2. When you wake up in the morning, before getting lost in your email or Facebook, review your to-do list again, and start getting to work on anything that you can. You might consider getting up 30 minutes to an hour earlier to get things done before the kids get up! This has worked great for me and gives me fantastic momentum throughout the day!

This super-simple approach works, because you are beginning and ending your day with planning and preparation time so you are more focused on the things that really matter to you. I dare you to try it for a week and see if it makes a difference!

My Fitness Story and Why I am Now Offering Health and Fitness Coaching

I have always been a fit person. For the past few years, my routine was to work out four times each week -- 2 days of high intensity spinning and 2 days of gentle yoga.

But over the past couple of years, I put on a few pesky pounds that were really annoying. I've been trying to work out harder to shed the pounds, but it wasn't really working.

Honestly, I felt frustrated, but I just kept plugging along trying to find some success.

Frustration turned to hope when I saw my friend Katie's Beachbody and Shakeology results. She looked even more amazing than she did before, and I swear, she was glowing. Even more exciting was that she said her workouts were only 30 minutes per day and that she was never hungry with the food portions. Wow!

I had a goal – to get back to my “normal” weight by my summer vacation! And I did! In just two 21 day challenge rounds I lost those pesky 5 pounds and 7 inches -- mostly around my waist, hips and thighs. And it was easy!

As you know, my profession for the past five years has been as a certified master life coach helping moms find their happiness so they can make the most out of every day with their families!

Now, I am adding the title of Beachbody Coach to my coaching portfolio! I’m thrilled to be able to bring this type of fitness coaching to my current and future clients. It’s the perfect match!

My mission is to help moms get healthy so they can feel happy and energetic and more like themselves!

Are you ready to take control of your health? If so, join me in the next 21 day challenge! Email me at tina@haisman.net if you are interested!
